Osechi Item: Kazunoko Duo -- Herring Roe with Spicy Cod Roe & Herring Roe soaked in Dashi Broth

Yaki-mochi (Grilled Sticky Rice Cake)

• Crispy Oyster Roll -- Panko Breaded Fried Oyster Sushi Roll with Avocado, Cucumber and Tobiko with BBQ Mayo

-- Kazunoko is one of the delicacy for Japanese to enjoy for New Year's Day. (The whole assembly of the foods are called "Osechi") Many of these dishes hold symbolism for the coming year. Kazunoko, which translates to "many children," symbolizes fertility and family prosperity.
